Rural Patriotism Item #123 I was traveling with my husband, near Washington D.C. when 9/11 took place. The site of the flag on this rural Virginia home struck me. Some people say the picture is not that great and depressing, but I just love it. Within hours of hearing it on the radio there where flags everywhere.
